We had drinks at the same table Sean Connery had dinner. The hotel staff was really friendly. The location was perfect, right in the village and only a two minute walk to the lift. The team works hard to make your stay enjoyable. Breakfast is not substantial, but an excellent way to start. Lunch and dinner options are excellent on site as are their local recommendations, all walking distance. Ski lift a 4-5 minute walk. Rooms are small and this is a village Inn so temper your expectations and you will have an amazing time! Our stay at Bergidyll was truly good. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the Gütsch Express, which provides easy access to the mountain. The staff was remarkably friendly and helpful, and our spacious room comfortably accommodated the three of us. One suggestion for improvement: adding a kettle for morning coffee or tea would be a welcome amenity, particularly given the premium rate of nearly £400 per night.
