"The cabin was as advertised; a nice quiet escape from everyday life. Ryan, the host, was very responsive to my questions, and given that his family lives on the property, respected our privacy. I think I saw his family once in our weeklong stay. If you’ve never had well water, you may be kind of surprised of the smells, minerals, etc., well I have so it was no big deal, especially since they make a note of it up front. The staircase mentioned is fine, however heed his warning that if you are physically challenged, it may not be the best option unless you don’t mind sleeping downstairs. We were provided linen, dishes, start up coffee (hallelujah!), and misc games to play. Our time in the cabin was fun and allowed our family to have a great time together. The lake, too large to be a pond, is a treasure if you like to fish. My son and I only had one opportunity to fish and the bite was on. You can tell it is a low pressured lake. I caught a nice 3lb bass within 20 minutes of fishing. A John boat along with trolling motor and batteries were available to us for use but due to the nature of our visit, we didn’t have the time to take advantage of that. I can only imagine. The Satilla grocery store is right around the corner for anything you need for your stay and the full kitchen is at your disposal, along with a grill downstairs and a fire pit. You can’t beat it. I will be using this place for my next visit and will definitely take advantage of the fishing!!"

"House looks beautiful in the pictures, that’s why I am assuming there are no outside pictures. Not a good area, didn’t feel safe. Didn’t get the address until after the time allotted to cancel but even once I got it shame on me for not verifying the location. Received the access code 2.5 hours after rental started and was driving from MI so was panicking because not much communication and after asking yet again for code it took over an 1.5 hours for her to give it. Was told they were cleaning and lost track of time so house wouldn’t have been ready by 4pm (check in) Got there and my husband wouldn’t even let me get out of the car, we have kids and just had a bad feeling about all of it. Bad area, next street over appeared to be a drug deal, was told just because one person was doing that doesn’t mean it’s a bad area/ Neighborhood . Overall, RUN! Ended up having to rent 2 hotel rooms in a panic last minute after driving 15 hours with 3 kids, and arriving after 8:30 pm ..disappointed by the false advertisement. I will refrain from posting area pictures of respect to protect the address. I will make sure the artist that hosted the event and had us is aware for his next events to use caution and make his fans aware. "

"My bed was comfy, my room was clean and the pool was refreshing. We stay here everytime we come to town and will continue to do so. Its quiet at night and safe to walk around. "

"It was awesome and amazing. We will be back. The staff were very friendly. The only thing I was disappointed about was the carpet. It had a bad smell but I made it work with a plug in. The toilet was a little loose from the floor. But overall our experience was great. "
