« Found this place while looking for dog friendly lodging while on a road trip. Did not disappoint. They don’t charge ridiculous fees for dogs, in fact, they charge nothing! Every single employee here was genuinely friendly and helpful. The lodging was very nice and the beds were so comfortable. The showers were in the main building and everything was very clean and well taken care of. We will be back and I would recommend to anyone who enjoys the outdoors, but doesn’t always want all the work...

« My spouse and our 5-month-old enjoyed a long weekend here. The location is great for access to Gooseberry Falls and other popular North Shore spots (Superior Hiking Trail, Grand Marais, Two Harbors, Betty’s Pies, etc.). The space was comfortable and clean. My only concerns were that the traffic from Hwy 61 is very loud when you are outside and the tap water was a murky faint brown (likely from the well water). »

« So impressed with the cabin and that the owners built it by hand themselves! Beautiful views of all the surrounding trees and the lake, felt very private. Everything felt new and clean, and I'm recommending this place to anyone who is traveling to the north shore! « Loved being there. The place was very clean and loved the outdoor decks and screened in porch. Water pressure was great. WIFI was perfect. Kitchen was well stocked with kitchenware's. Ed and Shawn were good at communication. The surrounding are is beautiful. We went to Grand Marias (50 miles) and had a great time poking around town and going to dinner. Definately would sstay here again. »

« This property was so beautiful waking up to the views of the lake at sunrise and sunset, the fires are night looking under the stars was incredible. The cabin was in a great location to all the hiking trails and beach locations. We saw a bear on the property two days in a row eating berries. I would definitely stay at this cabin again! »
