"We stayed in room 220 on 1st floor. About 15 steps to room. (In 3 sections). No lifts. I have walking difficulties but steps we ok. Room clean & basic. Large corner balcony overlooking the sea. Air con in lounge. On arrival Maria had left key's & instructions for us, easy! Pool area nice, clean & peaceful. Other than breakfast option which we didn't use. There is no food or drink service on site. But supermarket outside was very good for supplies. For someone with walking issue...

"I enjoyed a 5 night break at Sands. A little apprehensive due to several negative reviews however my experience was very positive. The rooms are a good size and have everything you need including full fridge freezer and dishwasher. The entire complex is very clean and is thoughtfully laid out. I enjoyed the lane swimming and the surrounding area is perfect for running. I also used the gym several times. Shops and restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk. "Stayed here for 10 nights in November 2025 and was very pleased with the hotel. Staff are very friendly, relaxed and were very helpful when we needed a few things. Rooms were spotless and very spacious - aircon was fab and kept the room cool at all times and you couldn't really hear it. The outside balcony spaces here are generous with sunbeds and a table and chairs and the overall outside spaces here are fabulous if you like to sit and spend a day by the pool - it's about a 10-15 minute walk into town along the coast and there are a few restaurants and bars close by with 2 supermarkets virtually across the road. There was everything you would want at breakfast and was probably one of the best I have tasted over the years in different hotels and it catered well for the old fry-up. Overall, a great stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely holiday."
