« Excellent hotel, service is great, food in pub is spot on. One word of warning, and this is an expedia issue is that the pin location that they have set for this hotel is 1.8 miles off, meaning if you are there for an event you are 35-40 minutes walk away from where you thought you was. Very misleading. Not the hotels fault but there is nowhere else to put this. Hotel was spot on, thank you »

« Une pose s'impose à Stamford et Candlesticks est bien situé non loin du centre ville à pied. Le patron est sympa et a une bonne connaissance de la France. La cuisine est bonne et les chambres sont au calme. »

« Good sized room and the bed was huge. The rooms are above the bar area which was fine as its wasn't too noisy. The car parking is easy as there is loads of space. I used this location as it was a short drive to the Water Sports Centre in Nottingham. the kitchens close about 8:30 ish so if you are late back for food I can recommend the Indian about 100mtrs down the road. All in all a nice location for a few days away »

« Excellent place for a functional overnight stop near M1. Friendly, comfortable and quiet. Can park car right in front of motel-style rooms. Tea & coffee making in room. »

« Superbe cadre dans un petit village entouré d'eau. Vieille bâtisse avec parking en gros gravillons, le tout très bien entretenu.J'ai eu une chambre spacieuse mais pas de clim dommage. Salle de bain élégante. Superbe restaurant et terrasse pour le petit déjeuner, le déjeuner ou le diner. Il y a aussi un bar type "pub" dans l'hotel avec des clients qui ne dorment pas à l'hotel mais qui sont j'imagine du village. Seul bémol, un peu perdu dans la campagne. »

« Looking for a good place to stay for our annual meet up with friends, we needed somewhere which was halfway between our homes in Essex and Lancashire and we came across the Bull Inn. « Lovevly night away! Hosts made it so easy and hassle free. Room was very clean, had a peaceful nights sleep! Had dinner down the road in a pub called the wheatsheaf! Which was very nice! Rutland water is only a 15min drive! Thanks again to the host! »
