"We went for my wife's 40th birthday with multiple families with kids. It was a perfect venue and stay that was closer to the Liberia airport vs Fortuna. We had Tucans on the property, parrots, and plenty of beautiful birds. There is enough distance from each of the villas that gave you some privacy, but close enough to also feel together easily. "Beautiful boutique hotel. Only 6 rooms. each individually decorated . Owner chef welcoming and very personable. Amazing tasting meal available as well as regular menu. Enjoy the included family style breakfast (for hotel guests only) while you watch Toucans at the feeders. Highly recommend stopping at Gingerbred!"

"What a beautiful view! Really enjoyed staying with you. The breakfasts options was so perfect! Beautifully presented, fresh pastries and fruits oh and the cappuccinos! Yum! Kitchen is a little bare, would have liked to see drying cloths, scrubby pads, and a blender, but we were able to cook our meals. We didn’t rent a car so the walk into town was a bit of a challenge (hills and no sidewalks) but totally doable. The little town has little cafes and shops, lots of places to explore. Thank you!"

"Alexandra is an amazing host. She was very accommodating, warm and helpful. She even brought us bread and pinto gallo in the morning. LIttle Paradise is well situated and all the major sights (La Fortuna, Arenal Volcano, Monteverde) are at most an hour drive away. The property is scenic and vast, with a beautiful view of the lake.
