So peaceful. Able to explore trails in area. Quiet and friendly condo community. Owners are very helpful. Definitely would come back this time of year.

Where do I start. Let's start with the hotel. The place was clean and the room where very nice. No problems with the room. Good spacing and very clean.Staff was great. Very helpful and tried to handle any problems immediately. We didn't go to the restaurants but use the food court. A little pricey but the stuff on the menu was good except the pizza. Do not get the pizza. The dough is horrible and overwhelmed with mozzarella cheese. Kids took one bite and said they didn't like it. That was the only thing i really didn't like and the fact the the wifi didn't work good. it kept going in and out and the TV's wouldn't connect. As far as the stiff the facility offered. That's where the problems begin. The water park was half opened because of maintenance. It was the main rides like the big bucket area and the 2 out of the 3 slides. Made no sense to even go. The hotel pool was nice but the hot tube needs maintenance. Bubbles barely working and the concrete was falling apart. Everything else was good. The movies, bowling, arcade, basketball courts and bingo were fun. The place is old and certain things need to be updated but I did enjoy my stay. I would go again but I will call ahead of my cancelation date to find out what's down and what's not available.

It has old school kitschy charm. It was a fun place to stay.

The name of the hotel is misleading. First, it wasn't called the Luxury Resort at Lake Harmony (It's called Split Rock Lodge) when we arrived and it was far from a luxury resort. There was no front-desk and it was difficult to find someone to ask for assistance questions we had. The hotel itself is a bit outdated in most of the main areas. I will say the room itself was updated and nice and the tall ceilings were a nice touch. Also the bathroom was nice. So it was a mix of parts that were nice and parts that need work. The location is great being close to the lake. So my review is a mixed bag of it needing improvements and some parts that were nice. Would I stay here again? Not out of the question but most likely not if I can find other accommodations in the area.
