One of the bedrooms and bathrooms is located on the basement/garden level and has some sewage-like odor, so sleeping in that space did not work out for us. The house was otherwise very convenient but hot since no AC was available. "We loved staying at Rui's place. We were able to walk downtown every day and enjoy the hustle and bustle but then return to the apartment located in a very quiet neighbourhood. Being just a few minutes walk from a good sized grocery store was an extra bonus. Thanks for everything Rui!"

"There's much to like about The Yellow House, with one major exception. The bed is quite comfortable, and while smallish, the quarters are comfortable as well. Wifi worked very well, and the patio is a huge plus, for relaxing in the sun (I smoke the occasional cigar, so it was very welcome. "This is a good property close to a lovely Atlantic beach that is good for surfing and body boarding. The property is secluded and there is a lovely pool that you share with one other property. The kitchen is sufficient for self catering and there is a supermarket close by. The location is good for exploring North Portugal, including the Lima Valley and the Miho boarder towns. The staff was very accomodating to my plant-based breakfast request and made sure I had enough food.
