"This is an excellently located hotel for Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth Docks, Fratton Park. It is a typical travel lodge style, simple and unfussy. The free 24 hours parking is a real bonus. The breakfast is also excellent. The room was a little tired, but for the price, location and friendly staff I'd still rate it excellent."

"We were happy with everything. As well as the usual clean, warm, welcoming etc. It was also the small touches - handmade shortbread gift, a small fridge in the room containing drinking water and fresh milk. Also reasonable toilet roll! "

"The room was clean, pleasant and windows you could open! The beds were very comfy. We enjoyed our small evening snack, breakfast and lunch dishes. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I enjoyed the pool and sauna. They don't have a jacuzzi but a refreshing jacuzzi type cool pool to use after the sauna. We loved the calm and Monet-esque gardens and look forward to our next visit when the outdoor pool and flowers are out. "
