The main floor bedroom is drafty and the large windows give neighbors a great view inside unless you want the curtains permanently closed. The main floor bedroom also features an uncomfortable pillow top bed. Beware of the spongy entryway floors as well.Property: The neighbors have loud dogs that run to the fence line and growl (not great if you have kids).Upstairs: The upstairs floor is quite lacking in natural light as well as privacy. The stairs lead directly into the room.Owners: There was a maintenance issue that plagued our stay. The owners started out helpful, but turned hostile and defensive when they were unable to resolve the issue and we attempted to negotiate a fair refund. ##### Brian W. The beds are super comfy, and it was easy to want to stay and read a book on the front porch. We loved the kitchen and had a blast making breakfast there every morning. The house was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. The hosts were fantastic—attentive, responsive, and made sure our stay was seamless from start to finish.The location was ideal, situated in a quiet neighborhood while still being close to plenty of restaurants and attractions. During our visit, we enjoyed golfing at TPC Louisiana and English Turn Golf Club, exploring Bourbon Street, and dining at amazing spots like Toups Meatery, Kingfish Kitchen and Mulate’s. We also had fun trying our luck at Caesars Casino, all just a short UBER trip away.This home truly felt like a perfect retreat after each day of adventure.
