Small room stained bed covers,hard ass bed was like sleeping on the floor, dirty floors, mirrors, dust everywhere food and wrappers on the floor. Called us 1st thing in the morning to leave when check out is at 12.

The Monk Bar is the cutest little bar in PA! The outdoor patio area is charming and secluded. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Pre-order to go breakfast was good and there is even a free shuttle that will take you around local Pittsburg. The only "negatives" is the neighborhood isn't the greatest, so while it is walking distance to a lot of places, not ideal. I do think the shuttle service makes up for that. Everything was clean and tidy as well. Unique and charming hotel!

I don't have anything bad to say about the hotel, except for the parking. While I understand it is downtown Pittsburgh, the parking situation is horrible. There needs to be a system so that when the hotel has guests, there is proper parking. I don't mind paying for parking; however, the parking needs to be a one-time fee. I couldn't park in the garage simply because it's a valet, and I had to pay forty (40$) a day.
