The Captain’s Cottage was built with exactly this in mind! This beautiful new home is in the heart of north Naples. It is a one block walk to the Mercato shopping, dining and entertainment. Walk or bike ride four blocks to Vanderbilt Beach. Bikes and beach gear are available on-site. The home has three bedrooms, three baths, plus den, with master suites both upstairs and down; comfortably sleeps six. First floor master suite and bath are handicap accessible. A designer kitchen with stainless steel appliances is a chef's dream and the stylish, glass block eat-in peninsula a great gathering place for family and friends. The Captain's Cottage affords comfortable indoor/outdoor living. From the living room and kitchen, double sets of French doors open out to a broad lanai across the full length of the house. Enjoy the outdoor living, dining, and bath areas. The large, heated and screened pool is comfortable year-round. Grill and outdoor refrigerator make poolside meals a breeze. The house was custom designed specifically for natural light throughout the day. There is an ample utility room with full sized washer and dryer as well as spare refrigerator available. The pool was well maintained and beautiful. The outdoor space is so very pretty and we spent a lot of time out there. The house is a walk to the beach (about 1.2 miles), so close to restaurants and shops. A great location. If I had to say one complaint (and its a small one), new beach chairs would be great.
