Great staff and fun rooftop bar

The hotel is beautiful but the staff leaves much to be desired. We got 2 rooms for 6 nights, spent money at the restaurant, overnight parking, room service, and yet they refused to ship a small item we left behind (housekeeping took it by mistake) unless we paid a $25 shipping fee. I’m disappointed by their poor customer service at the front desk. All other staff was good.

My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary at this "Excellent Establishment". We were completely blown away by the sheer magnificence of the grounds, room, and amenities; every moment of our stay was magical. The staff welcomed us with enthusiasm and professionalism, we were given complimentary champagne and truffles along with a celebratory card. We were given congratulatory well wishes to come and allow the GPI and staff to honor our love with them again and again in the future. The cuisine for breakfast and dinner were emaculately prepared with 5 star quality each day. I can truly say everything was truly awesome.

Unfortunately target overbooked the terrace rooms, so we got bumped to a king suite. It was quite unfortunate as that was what we were looking forward too, however they did give us a free bottle of wine. Food and drinks were amazing at watch and the observatory. Our room is big and super clean. The bed and sheets were comfortable

We always stay at the Windsor in Asheville. The rooms and space with kids cannot be beat!
