« Easy access to the home and within walking distance to the quaint town of La Grange. Enjoyed the baked bread that was a pleasant surprise. Property owner was prompt in mailing back to me a bag I had left on the property. Suggestion would be to remove the area rugs in the living area if there will be a guest staying using a wheelchair for mobility. Overall, wish more homes were wheelchair accessible as our experience with the Sweet Retreat. »

« This house was prettier and more special than the pictures display. What a gem! We came in for my son’s wedding- family of the groom and it was perfect for my extended family to hang out, including my 92 yr dad. We relaxed in between activities- it is extremely convenient to Louisville and any nearby stores for last minute needs for events. Each room and patio gave a feeling of zen, peace, beauty, a wonderful way to quietly start and end the day plus also entertain in with brunches and family...

« This was a "Girl Cousin's Get Away". The house was perfect for us; we had two mother/daughters, and then 3 singles. With the 2 1/2 baths it worked great and the kitchen living room area was open and big enough for lounging and visiting around the table.
