Quiet, Cozy & Safe 2 Bed 1 Bath in Crescent Hill

Located in safe & quiet Crescent Hill within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, parks & more. 2 bed 1 bath with super size washer & dryer, nice size kitchen, dining and living room. Outdoor grill, 43" 4k TV.
'The B' as we call it because of the name of the street it is located is in a great neighborhood. It's safe and quiet. The neighborhood has great trees, is great for walking, close local restaurants, parks, bike trails and more.

We are a hop skip and a jump from most expressways and also have great 'back road' access through the neighborhoods so you can get anywhere in the city quickly even if there is traffic.

The airport is 15 minutes away and downtown is 5.

Restaurants, coffee/tea/ice cream/dessert shops are all within a short walk and are mixed in with local shops.
There is also a good night life for those that want to stay out a little later.

We enjoy the living in the neighborhood and you'll love your stay.

The neighborhood has great trees, is great for walking, close local restaurants, parks, bike trails and more. Everything about our stay was absolutely wonderful, the neighborhood the atmosphere, Chris our host was wonderful and met us to tell us about our apartment and even gave us recommendations on local restaurants, super sweet guy. Our apart was super clean and cozy. We will be booking again!

The location was perfect for our stay. The host was always available for any of our inquiries and great at giving suggestions of where to go and must do’s in Louisville. The rooms were clean and we had everything in the kitchen we needed. We had a 2nd floor apartment, so there are quite a few stairs to navigate, especially if you are older and have to carry up suitcases.

Owner just was really great in providing us all the information we would need to have a great time in the area. We took his advice and had some really great experiences. House was very beautiful and comfortable and just had great vibes! Bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. Neighborhood is beautiful and you can walk at all hours of the day or night and feel safe. Easy drive to mall and to downtown. Owner even had it decorated for the current holiday which was fabulous. Can't say enough good things about the owner, house, or neighborhood. If you want a quiet cozy beautiful getaway that's close to everything then this is the place to be!

A lovely, quiet neighborhood, treehouse views from the upper apartment and lots of light and comfy furnishings. We had a great stay and felt Chris was an excellent host, eager to assist in any way. Be prepared to provide your own coffee and have a brief walk through to receive the entry code and a walk through of home systems.

Derby Weekend

Chris was a great host, and the house is in a nice safe neighborhood. Walking distance to a lot of great restaurants, pubs, shops, etc. A good place to stay in Louisville!

Great trip

This property worked great for our family while in town for a volleyball tournament. Nice place in a safe location within walking distance to a cute coffee shop and restaurant. Chis was great to work with and made sure we had everything we needed.

Welcome Home Experience

Chris is on the journey to renovate The B into a 5-star experience. Very clean, spacious, comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. Chris and his boys are delightful host. We will stay again when returning to Louisville.

Great visit with nearby college student

This place is near our son’s college campus and provided us a great space to entertain he and his roommate with some home cooked food and family game time. Chris is quick to respond and always available. The home is charming and comfortable. Will definitely be back!

Cozy, comfortable and a great location in Louisville

We enjoyed our time at the “B”. Chris was so helpful and attentive. He gave us great recommendations on where to eat and things to do. Parking was easy, it is a very walkable neighborhood. The space had everything you could possibly need and it as extremely clean! We are already planning a return trip to Louisville and the “B” Thank you, Chris!

Great communication from Host

The Host gave us a great orientation when we arrived. We really appreciated that. The apartment was clean, with the exception of on top of the ceiling fans (lots of dust). More importantly, we did not see any smoke detectors in the apartment, which made us a little apprehensive.

Great host and location

This was our first stay at a VRBO, and Chris was an excellent and available host. The property is within easy walking distance of many restaurants. The location is very safe. I was concerned about the proximity of the railroad tracks, but the trains were rarely noticed and didn't wake us at night. It is next to a school, so there can be traffic during drop off and pick up times. It didn't affect our ability to park in front of the property. There is a little construction under process in the front and back yards. The apartment is on the second floor with a couple of landings in between flights of stairs. We didn't have any issues with them. It's a historic home with high ceilings so expect a few creaking floor boards, but we rarely noticed any noise from the apartments above or below. We would stay here again.

Wanted to give this 5*…

We really wanted to give this place 5* Host - kind, helpful, communicative, friendly - 5* Location - wonderful, quiet local community near great bars and restaurants. Close to downtown but in a lovely area. 5* Apartment - very comfortable, quiet and clean. Comfortable beds and sofas. A few issues with fittings and finishings (e.g. bedroom door looked as though it was being repainted). 4* Entrance and gardens - Overall the accommodation loses a star because the front garden is being remodelled and looked like it was a building site. (And the view over the rear garden from the kitchen was a building site - not great). 2* Chris is a great host. He told us the front garden would be finished during October. If the front garden is completed and the minor issues in the apartment fixed by then he’ll have an even better place and we will return. And we’ll give it a 5* review!

Quiet location

We stayed for a weekend and was grateful for the quiet neighborhood. The entry access is keyless, which I find convenient.The unit is on the second floor of an older home. There are two bedrooms and one bath/shower. The kitchen was well stocked and there is a separate dining area. The wood floors shown in the pictures are now carpeted thru out the dinning, living and bedroom areas. The living room has a large smart TV and Chris has even set up some voice activated lights thru out the unit. He is a wonderful host to communicate with, quite helpful and assists with checking in. He currently has some construction projects happening in the front yard and sidewalk, which is a bit haphazard.

Perfect accommodation for our one night stay in Louisville for a concert. Our group consisted of two couples and our teen daughter. Chris met us upon arrival and gave us a run down on the property and offered local ideas for places to eat. The 24/7 Diner was perfect for our late dinner after the show. We found the beds very comfortable for all and the new couch was a nice surprise. The new patio was beautiful and the Halloween decor were top notch. I would definitely stay again! Thanks again Chris for your accessibility and willingness to be on call if needed!
