Monument Vacation Packages

Very good no problem

Called ahead and was told room would be ready in 20-30 mins. When we got there we were told it wasn’t ready now and we had to wait an hour longer. We paid for a Mountain View and waited for a high floor, the AC was broken in that room so the front desk moved us to a different room that ended up not being a Mountain View. We refused that room and were eventually given another room on a low floor that had the view of a roof and AC unit. The robe was dirty with a mud footprint on it and the slippers had self tanner and long hair all over them. The iron in the room was also messed up with plastic melted on the bottom that would have ruined our cloths if we didn’t notice first. After telling the front desk all of this, they offered no compensation or adjustments and just kind of ignored it. Front desk staff in general didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Very high expectations for this hotel and none were met. Would never stay there again. Shout out to the guy who helped the first night though. He already did his best to make something work for us.

It was outstanding in every way imaginable! Went for our honeymoon, stayed in the Royale Suite,naclcony accesswith a view over courtyard,amazing. Rich history inside this mansion,gorgeous staircase in the entryway,not to mention the spooky ghosts to greet you when you stumble in from the convenient Tavern 10 FEET from the hotel! Located in awesome Capitol Hill, tons of local food,clothing and dank close by. Cannot wait to go back and see what Chris has in store for the basement!!!! Will be back soon,,

Great customer service from the check-in staff, housekeeping attendants, and bar/beverage/food staff…Everyone!!! They were all very pleasant and helpful.

So many nice things, especially cleanliness. Great walking location to so many - Union Station, 16th Street, Stadium. What I would change is black out drapes. coverage is poor and unless you want the sun beaming in like a a laser at 6 am - ugh!!! We spent time moving lamp to hold on one side and suitcase on other but so much light came if from bottom that easy to see anything like lights on at sunrise. Only 2 others things they could improvewere skimpy on towels unless ask more and took extra at cleaning instead of replace., spray bottle to clean equipment in gym. Overall fantastic stay otherwise- room not being dark bummer as late arrival and nights with activities.
