We have stayed at many hotels in Monterey and surrounding areas. This is one of the nicer hotels. Staff so friendly and kind. Clean rooms. Continental breakfast has plenty of options for all.

Upon arrival the front desk assistant at check in was not that inviting. Upon receiving my room, we were placed in the handicap suite. The room appeared to be clean at first glance. As we began to use the amenities in the room we noticed the coffee pot had an old coffee bag inside. The bathroom door would not close properly and struggled to open it or close it as there was no handle to assist. There were handprints on the baseboard of the bed which we did not see until we were almost going to sleep and the light from the lap shined. Lastly the outlets next to the bed did not work properly which made it inconvenient on charging our items. I will say the property was well maintained clean, breakfast was available and was refreshed by staff when needed. Parking was free, easy to park near an entrance to the building.

Well maintained grounds. The staff were friendly. We were upgraded to a suite which was a welcomed surprise. The breakfast is average. I’d rather have good doughnuts & muffins than mediocre eggs, sausage & waffles. We grabbed 2 bananas & some coffee and juice. Location is close to gas, shopping & restaurants.

In all of my travels, I haven't ever checked into a hotel and thought- I cannot stay here. I arrived late due to a delayed flight (1:30 a.m.) and had no choice but to stay for the first night. I slept on top of the bedding, rose, and though I had 2 more nights on my stay, I left. What was so bad? I wouldn't walk barefoot on the rug and the smell of the room- I worried that it would permeate everything in my suitcase.

Always doing some construction work and never inform their guests. This time I was asked to leave my hotel room for a curtain repair that was not shared that this was occurring at time of check in. Manager is never available on the weekends to tend to escalated resolution. Very disappointing

Pas propre du tout, personnel peu enclin à aider et semblait démotivé... Hotel semblait rénové depuis peu, pour les parties communes, mais pas les chambres... Une odeur très désagréable se dégageait de la chambre quand on entrait, les dessus de lit et les draps plein de poils, peu confortable... Bref très mauvais expérience, notre 2e etablissement de la chaine et vous pouvez être sur que c'est notre derniere expérience dans un Confort Inn, semble être un standard avoir des chambres sales et mal entretenues... Il y a d'autres choix plus judicieux, allez ailleur ;)

The room was tidy/cleaned but not clean. Stains on the comforter, carpet, and lounge chair. Water damage hole the size of a silver dollar in the bathroom wall. Breakfast was good. Lots of carbs, while fruit, I missed hard boiled eggs. Loved that the bottom floor window opened all the way for fresh air.

The rooms were clean for the most part, although we did find a piece of candy on the floor in our room when we arrived, not a big deal. The overall condition of the rooms and property was really good. The beds were comfy too and everything seemed to be working properly. The staff was friendly for the most part also but the front desk reception person looked like she could use some sleep when I asked her to check out. She looked sleepy and had a can of energy drink next to her. Again, not a big deal but just something I noticed. The complimentary breakfast could definitely use some improvement. They kept running out of food and it was pretty messy in the dining area. We had friends staying next door at the Hampton Inn and their breakfast was much nicer and their kitchen was clean with ample breakfast items available. Parking was great with plenty of space to park. For the price you pay, I thought overall it was still a good value if you want just a simple place to stay that won't break the bank.

Place was clean, and checking in and out was quick. It had a variety of breakfast items and coffee. The eating area did get a bit messy since traffic is nonstop. But it helps to get there early to avoid most of the crowd. Beds were good, but the pillows were not comfortable for us. It was a very good experience overall. Will stay here again in the future.
