"There was no washer and dryer in the unit. Everything else was great. It would have been nice to know that the area is extremely busy with vehicle traffic though."

"Rooms were very clean. Food was high caliber at Carved . A lot of hotels in the far north don’t care too much about their hotel restaurants food quality. This place is completely different . As a lifelong northerner , I was expecting sad toast and eggs . Carved was a place I would go to even if I was not staying at the hotel . Great place to stay . *only down side is no good places to park a long trailer of you happen to be hauling one *"

Canadas Best Value Inn River View Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"The staff, in particular the lady who works the front desk was a kind and understanding person. She was the reason I stayed at this hotel, rather than changing my booking and going somewhere else. She is a treasure for this business. Smart and kind. The restaurant staff was equally pleasant. Helpful, fun and affable to a fault. The food was great and the prices reasonable. It was a memorable experience. It is not a place we plan to visit again as it was in the middle of our drive up the AlCan Highway and we do not plan to do that again. We stayed several places on our 3000 mile trip from Wisconsin, but this business stands out as the best experience and value of the entire trip."
