The Inn at Lathones was fantastic! My room was spotless and very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The amenities were excellent, making our stay both relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

The hotel's location is unbeatable for walking from old town to the new town. One elevator was not working so we had to take an elevator to the 7th floor then walk up to the 8th floor to our room via the stairs. The morning was tough to get an elevator due to the cleaning staff. Overall, a great location, nice room and friendly staff. I probably would stay here again just for the charm despite the minor conveniences.

Fabulous hotel suite was so spacious and the extra touches for our honeymoon was truly appreciated

This hotel has an excellent location on GrassMarket square. We spent 2 nights and used the hotel as base camp to explore the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, the Hop on Hop Off and Waverley station. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We did not eat any meals at the hotel, choosing instead to eat at local pubs nearby. The only suggestions for improvement are to update the shower/tub. Tub is very high and so narrow you can’t actually stand comfortably. There was also some mildew stains on the caulking. The hotel entrance also has several stairs to get to reception which make it hard to navigate with luggage or if you have mobility issues. Staff were very quick to offer to help but a ramp would be preferable. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone unless you have accessibility requirements, you may want to check how you would get to reception.
