Great hotel with outstanding ambience, old world feel and surroundings. Let down by 3 things...
- staff at bar and restaurant (same staff) over familiar. Young...too much "in your face" all the time..in the name of "friendliness". Its obvious they are trying really hard...however you can tell they don't know what good service looks like
- dozens of tiny small ants in my bathroom handbasin (let them knwo on departure)
- the old style metal lift is quaint...but once you are in bedroom - very noisy...all hours of the night
If they fixed first 2...3rd one can be overlooked. So much promise !!! Change staff - makes me wonder about the manager..
