The ac could be better I had it set in 69 and the room didn’t feel like it

This property is in a great area of San Diego/Gadlamp. Great for families or if you are traveling as a couple and/or alone. Young adults would have a ball with so many bars and music going on in the area. The pool bar / 5 o'clock Somewhere is a hit. Brett and Travis are great and it was a lit of fun. The pool was very clean with pool chairs , tables, and music. The room was clean and very comfortable. My partner and I took the amtrak train to San Diego and didn't need to park. However, hotel has parking and bikes that you can rent/borrow. The first 2 hrs are free. If you stay at this hotel make sure to have breakfast at least one day at the Gaslamp Breakfast Cia across the street. It is delicious. After 10 pm you can get something to eat at the Melt. Go have fun and fin up!!!

The property was overall cozy and clean and comfortable. The room was a bit smaller than I expected but our stay here was nice.

Older Hotel is in a great location. It could use some maintenance and landscaping. The hotel restaurant is literally right in the middle of the property. There is a supply storage right near the pool and vendors and employees were constantly in and out. We were advised of the ongoing construction with them extending the restaurant but weren’t prepared for the truck parked right outside our window in room 51 at 4:00 am unloading materials. Overall the room was spacious and clean. The outside area and landscaping coukd be tidied up. Parking is offsite a few blocks away for a fee.

Staff was kind and helpful, the hotel does give a bit of a motel experience but if you aren’t interested in amenities then this is the place for you.
