"Wonderful hotel/hostel close to Tayrona. The private rooms have large floor to ceiling windows, and it was magical to watch the lightning and thunderstorms at night. Our room was very comfortable, and we loved the hammocks and outdoor seating as well. The restaurant served great food, and it was nice to have room service on extra stormy nights. "Hotel bei Ebookers war bezahlt. Und bei Unterkunft musste ich nochmals 228 000 kolumbianischer Peso bezahlen. Ich dachte das ist Kaution. Wie ich feststelle. Habe ich nun dieses schlechte Hotel doppelt bezahlt. Nun habe ich eine Buchung in einem anderem Hotel. Wieder über Ebookers. Und die wollen nun auch wieder Geld. Obwohl bezahlt.. funktioniert ebookers nicht. Oder machen das die Hotels in Kolumbien so. Fühle mich nun betrogen und hätte gerne das Geld zurück."

It's a quiet place not to visited, at least not when went in Feb 2015. 
Best thing you can drive right to where you'll set up (Unlike the Tayrona Park, where you have to walk 2 hours from the parking lot to the camp sites)

"We had an amazing stay at Cayena. The standard room was spacious and well appointed. The food was yummy and the staff superb. Andrew in particular helped us for over an hour change a flight. "Wonderful hotel/hostel close to Tayrona. The private rooms have large floor to ceiling windows, and it was magical to watch the lightning and thunderstorms at night. Our room was very comfortable, and we loved the hammocks and outdoor seating as well. The restaurant served great food, and it was nice to have room service on extra stormy nights. Good WiFi to work or stream. The staff was kind and helpful. A few minutes walk from the beach, and five minute bus ride to the El Zaino entrance of Tayrona. We loved it so much we extended our stay. "
