"Visited with my husband and 11 year old son. Was a wonderful spot- easy access to town but we really enjoyed that it was away and secluded. We ate most our meals at the restaurant which was fantastic. Also loved the yoga class. And our son loved playing pool and playing in the waves at the beach. Would definitely recommend :) "

"Very friendly, very helpful. When our driver couldn't make it to the Casa to take us to Santa Marta airport for our flight to Bogota, Marisela took us both in our car and drove the hour and 15 minutes to drop us off at the airport. Even though we don't speak much Spanish at all, her entire staff took the effort to communicate with us in English throughout our stay. The location is fantastic and you have the choice of tenting on the beach to common dorm type accomodation to a couple of rooms...

"After traveling 10 hours by bus from Cartagena, I was relieved to have arrived at Pavo Real. A wonderful vegetarian restaurant was on site and I got the room with a private pool. Such a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is happy and you are well taken care of. I’d stay again! I loved it here. The room was clean and cleaned daily. Easy to walk to town and you can eat every meal at the hotel if you don’t want to eat in the main town proper. I’d definitely recommend staying here!"

"Wonderful hotel/hostel close to Tayrona. The private rooms have large floor to ceiling windows, and it was magical to watch the lightning and thunderstorms at night. Our room was very comfortable, and we loved the hammocks and outdoor seating as well. The restaurant served great food, and it was nice to have room service on extra stormy nights. Good WiFi to work or stream. The staff was kind and helpful. A few minutes walk from the beach, and five minute bus ride to the El Zaino entrance of Tayrona. We loved it so much we extended our stay. "
