It is not a 4 stars hotel. The hot water stopped working and we were informed that the showers had to be very fast or we would have to wait for the heater to heat it up again.

The property was beautiful and in a great location. Breakfast was very good and the cleaning people were wonderful. My only complaint is with the front desk staff. There were two occasions where the person I was speaking with took off when they saw another guest, basically while helping me, and told me a colleague would assist. I’ve never experienced that in a hotel before. Most of the time the staff were wonderful. The hotel should make it clear how you are to get to the lobby when you get dropped off at parking m, which is 4 floors it so below the lobby. The elevator is locked. It should be clear where a bell is so you can find your way and not be stuck. My cab driver called the hotel but my son’s did not so he called me and I had to tell the front desk he needed to get in. Great location. Room simple but very functional and comfortable. Rooftop bar is amazing with great drinks and spectacular view. Really nice breakfast which is a must. Helpful staff.

Very comfortable stay in a quiet area approximately 6 minutes walk to the Piazza del Duomo in the city centre. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooftop bar is delightful. Breakfast is fairly standard continental style. The Elite room is a touch of luxury and is worth the slightly higher price tag. I’d highly recommend a stay at this hotel in the heart of Catania.
