We booked an all inclusive week at the new Sapphire Sands however the construction was delayed and we accepted their offer to stay at the Bay Gardens Resort and Spa. While the accommodations were not comparable to the new resort, the service was beyond our expectations. The restaurant had great menu options for a la carte which changed daily. The buffet was always fresh with various selections. Fresh eggs were cooked to our liking by friendly chefs. The local people who work at this resort are genuinely eager to ensure their guests are happy. The servers at the restaurant, our gal at the cappuccino bar, the ladies in the spa, housekeeping folks, towel guys, beach security and front desk were all very pleasant. But Jeanneil, Priska and Jimmy took care of our every need with attention to detail during our entire stay. This butler team made our trip unforgettable and we will definitely consider returning

Just got back from our 2nd trip to this amazing resort. We love the convenience of the location. This resort has everything that you could want in a family resort. Ideally there are various pool locations and you are not spoiled for choice in getting a spot for sun or shade at any of the pools. It is a large resort but easy walking between pool locations. We especially loved the lazy river. We didn't venture to the slides but I'm sure they would be a blast. They have so much to do for the kids, i.e. Cocoland, Paint Ball, Tennis, Tours etc. just to name a few. The staff are amazing in all areas of the resort. The rooms are nicely appointed. We stayed in the Harmony area (adult only) this trip, but we were in the Splash area the last time, which is more kid friendly with King Bed an Trundle Bed for the kids. Rooms are immaculate. The food is outstanding. We made reservations at the resort restaurants' the first time out but this time decided to only do a couple nights and enjoy the Country/Western and Caribbean Nights on the pool deck, and the Buffet Restaurant which has more choices than you can eat. Greet Food and Great entertainment. I can't say enough about this resort and would recommend it to anyone that wants a great worry free vacation, with tour choices, quiet areas and entertainment, whatever you are in the mood for.

Rooms were large and comfortable. Some great elements to the design overall. Staff were friendly. The small shared public beach was not inviting. You didn't want to spend time there. The food was below expectations. Not a five star resort, not close really.
