Twisted Cedars Ranch: Rest, Restore, Relax in mountain style.
10/10 Excellent
"5/5 – Peaceful retreat just minutes from Mesa VerdeOur stay at Twisted Cedars Ranch was absolutely excellent—peaceful, scenic, and truly off the beaten path in the best way. Just a short, beautiful 10-minute drive down a private dirt road (less than a mile from the entrance to Mesa Verde), this place felt secluded yet completely accessible to everything we came for.The one-bedroom unit was exceptionally clean and well thought-out—comfortable for both relaxing and cooking. My wife and I made full use of the functional kitchen for daily breakfasts and quiet dinners, and the views from the property were breathtaking. Every morning, we were treated to a stunning sunrise, and the tranquility of the ranch made it feel like time slowed down.We were especially grateful to meet our kind hosts, Heather and Chad, who were welcoming and respectful of our space. Their property is a hidden gem, and the quiet out there is something special you don’t easily find.Highly recommended for couples or solo travelers who appreciate nature, privacy, and being close to the wonders of Mesa Verde."
"access to mesa verde national park. if you are not going to stay in the park. this is the next best thing. plenty of access to food options around town and 2 blocks away from a walmart"
"Definitely an older hotel but they have put some effort into making it look good. Breakfast was meager and guest had to ask for things to be refilled. I didn’t but we noticed that while sitting there eating. "
"The Retro look took us back in time! Parking in front of our room was so convenient. We were in the Elvis room and the wallpaper was so great!
The room was clean and bed comfortable. Pet friendly with a dog run. Take out at Farm Bisto was delicious! About 11/2 miles down Main St….20 min from Mesa Verde National. "
"A fantastic view with great rooms and food. Having a private balcony is the way to go when staying here. It is so quiet and peaceful at night. I had dinner in the lounge outside and it made for the perfect night. "
