The night sky was like a blanket of jewels; no street lights to mar the ambiance of the setting. This home is very pet-friendly and the host always responded quickly to our questions. This home is perfect for anyone looking to get away from the noise and bustle of the city or town. The home was clean and toiletries were thoughtfully provided by the host. The location is ideal for visiting Durango and Mesa Verde which were our planned destinations."

Breakfast was good as well."

"This was much more of a hostel vibe than a hotel. There is a large shared kitchen, which was great for refreezing my cooler packs and making a snack. Also had shared bathrooms. The town is very dark at night. I would suggest adding brighter nightlights in the halls and bathroom so you can see where you're going after dark. Bed was pretty soft for me and the comforter was a bit too thick for late summer, early fall. Caretakers were very nice and helpful. Overall, a nice place and very convenient for Mesa Verde."
