My room was very clean The breakfast was okay but one thing I did want was the green chili soup. I heard a lot of excellent reviews on that but unfortunately the two days I was there they did not make it. Parking was good. Pam, the front desk lady was very, very friendly and very helpful. I definitely would recommend staying here. Definitely the next time I come to Cortez I will stay there

The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The price is low enough that we choose to go to an excellent local diner Pippo's on Main Street a short distance away. The price of the room + the price of an excellent 5hbreakfast is = to or < the total price of other (more expensive hotels) The ice machines were all out of order but... the value for the price was very good. We will stay here again in thecfuture

I've always used this facility when I come down to see the Great Sand Dunes. This visit nice however, there have been some changes since my last stay. The swimming pool area was pretty dark after the sun set as there are not many lights in the area. The water slide and the jacuzzi were inoperable also. I had really looked forward to using the jacuzzi after a day at the Sand Dunes hiking. As to the staff, they were amazing! They were informative, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was light but adequate. I should also say that the gym was nice to have access to 24 hrs. Overall, I would stay here again, but I hope that all of the amenities are functioning when I return.

Grandma Vi who handles the breakfast area is a wonderful person. We were a bit late to breakfast and she made sure we left with a full stomach and sent us off with water bottles for the road. Absolutely would stay here on our way through the area.

Horrible. Room looked nothing like the pictures. Even paid more for a nicer room. No parking up top. Bathroom was just scary. Daugther and us refused to shower in whatever that was. Weird hole in the ceiling which who knows who could have crawled through. Tv wasn’t even connected to the wall. Was held on with duct tape which fell off the wall. Expedia was no help with refund. Hotel was no help with refund because we used Expedia. Never got refund for $140. Went down the road not even half a mile and got a very nice clean room for $82 at Super 8.
