"Interesting property both outside and in the rooms. Location was great for us as it was on a main road from the airport to the city. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Rooms are spacious but you need to upgrade from the standard ones to cater for international passengers and their baggage. Best of all was the fantastic hot tub, spa and pool area. "I needed a good enough hotel in central Helsinki and Helka was Heaven. Good information upon arrival, for example that there is a sauna on the sixth floor. Clean and updated rooms (just a little too warm quilt, woke up sweaty after an hour), nice service at the bar and a good breakfast buffet. Took an evening walk in Helsinki in the chilly April wind and after that it was nice to have the heat from the sauna, an unusual electric one."

"Quite a nice hotel - with a couple of issues. No phone in the room - when I tried to call them to get a password for the internet on my mobile it rang out - so a walk down to the front desk that should have been offered at the outset - or on a sign or card in the room. No tissues in the bathroom - the cleaners neglected to refresh the tea bag supply or wash the cups. Little things that add up to an ordinary review. On the upside the shower was great, the bed comfortable and the sauna a delight."
