"Staff were friendly and welcoming- a very kind young lady receptionist gave us a free room upgrade without us asking for it - thank you! Check-in and out were a breeze and they offered free luggage storage. The room was clean and well-maintained and the hot water was great. Location was close to the train station and major shopping/eating places and points of interest."

Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Helsinki

Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Helsinki

8/10 Good
"Overall, this is a somewhat dated hotel in a good location with an excellent breakfast buffet. The location is very good - close to the Helsinki Central Railway Station and Ateneum Art Museum. Room check-in took some time because only one person was helping the front desk and the lobby bar/drink area customers. The room was a bit outdated and the faux leather headboard was peeling. The bathroom sink had a very slow drain and would back up easily. The gym was tiny and the equipment was disappointing for people who frequent modern gyms such as PF. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a variety of hot and cold foods including smoked salmon and those wonderful little potatoes - they even had lactose-free yogurt and vegan cheese for lactose-intolerant people - thank you."

Scandic Simonkenttä

Scandic Simonkenttä

10/10 Excellent
"My wife and I had a short stay over in Helsinki, and this hotel was perfect! The location is unbeatable with access to the main train station, downtown, and a lot of food options within a few minutes walk. The hotel itself was very clean, and comfortable. The sauna was amazing, and you have to make time for it. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel."
