"Always a pleasure to return to the Hawthorne and a trip back into history! The hotel is wonderful, as is the location, will so much to do in Salem.
My only suggestions would be to update the tub/shower and have additional bar service staff in the Tavern. Too many people for only 1 bartender.
Other than this, everything was great!"
"Flawlessly updated, centrally-located historic property ! Quiet with amazingly comfortable beds and a bountiful pantry for enjoyment by guests. Our entire stay was just perfect. We will be back!"
"We stayed for a few days with my husband and parents, and the location was perfect. We were able to walk to all the main Salem spots easily. When we arrived, there was an issue with the smoke detectors which was promptly addressed by the host. You can occasionally hear some street noise outside, but we were able to sleep well with a little white noise. Overall would recommend!"
