"This was a very relaxing stay for us. We live and work in the Willamette Valley. We usually vacation in Lincoln County or the Wallowas, but we wanted a change. This definitely was a great change of scene with interesting local shops and readily available hikes and drives—not to mention Bend. Rooms were surprisingly luxurious and well-appointed. The bath—water coming down from ceiling—was particularly gorgeous, but it took a minute to figure out how to drain it. Breakfast is recommended. The little outside nook is really peaceful with the Ponderosa Pines above and bird conversations all about. Their granola is also delicious. One recommended side trip if you’re in to short hikes, is to drive about fifteen or twenty miles to the east and visit the headwaters of the Metolius River. It’s a pretty area and a very easy hike. About the only sort of negative I can recall, is confusion about the nightly deposit. I failed to understand for some reason that it was a deposit and thought the price was higher than expected. Not a big deal and probably the fault of my hearing."

"This was our first time staying in Sisters, but definitely not our last. We fell in love with this small town, which gives off a small town vibe like Telluride & Ouray....and filled with the nicest people you could want to meet. The hotel itself was a pleasant surprise with a rustic feel, but exceptionally clean, quiet, and just so relaxing. My wife and I mentioned during our stay how Ponderosa Lodge had become our favorite hotel...not to mention the Alpaca herd just a couple hundred feet from our room. After getting back home I've already made a reservation to go back for a week in October."

"One night stay, wish we had stayed there longer. Room was impressive, with super high end bed, very clean and large bathroom with a full size shower. Resort was fabulous, scenic views, golf courses, and the pools had tons of shade and salt water. "

"It was fancier than we thought it would be. Nice surprise. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Had breakfast at the cafe in the hotel. It was ok for a quick bite. Overall we’d stay there again. "

"The bathroom fan is connected to the light & is very loud. There is no way to bypass this if you want a light in the bathroom. Because it is so loud, whenever the adjoining room turns on the fan, day or night, it is heard in the adjoining room. Not a deal killer but annoying nonetheless. The free breakfast is what one might expect. Small variety with not great quality, but it is free after all."
