"Djorff Palace was a quiet oasis on the West Bank of the Nile away from the chaos of Luxor. The hotel is an Arabian architectural marvel, straight out of an Arabian story. The staff are exceedingly helpful and friendly. The room was clean and serviced daily. The hotel's boat service across the Nile which does incur a small fee takes you to any location on the East bank. The water meadows around the hotel, where the water buffalo graze ,are a haven for numerous species of birds. The lunch and dinner menus change daily, the food is fresh and tasty. "
