"Our visit to the Hiker's Studio in the Taos Ski Valley was a great trip - the space as expected is compact, and located well up the mountain at 10200 feet of elevation. Plan for a scenic but slow drive up from the base to the cottages, however once you're there the Bavarian Restaurant, Lift 4, and the skiing area are a short walk from the front door of the apartment. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped, and there is in-room laundry equipment (bring your own soap) if your stay is longer than your packed clothing. This would be a good place to land if you are planning hikes to Wheeler Peak or other trails in the valley as well as during the snow season. We'll keep it bookmarked!"

"Great location and a cozy home. We had a blast. The communication with the host was excellent. Not quite ski-in/ski-out, but I felt like it was easier to walk from the house than from the parking lot. Plus it is super nice not to have to deal with loading up the car and parking. Definitely recommend!"

"We stayed here with three families on a ski vacation. There were plenty of beds to accommodate us all. The kitchen, dining table, and open living room(s) were large enough that we never felt cramped. And the boot drying rack was a nice bonus!There’s overnight parking available at the ski base if you have more than two vehicles. And we found that dropping the kids and skis off at the 10 minute loading zone by the skating rink made our walk to the base a lot easier. "
