Taos Vacation Packages

My husband is in a wheelchair so we reserved an accessibility room. We also have an accessibility van with a ramp for the wheelchair. We’ve stayed in that room before and it is great. However, after attending a concert at the Santa Fe Opera, we returned to the hotel only to find no parking spaces available, whether handicapped or not. Decided to just pack up and leave. As we were leaving, noticed three other vehicles leaving at same time. I am assuming they were locals who were at their bar, which had just closed at 11. So would not recommend if you are going to an event and planning to return to the hotel when their bar is open. We only spent an hour in the room total before the concert. Disappointed!!

The pour-over coffee offerings in the room were a delightful surprise. Will be returning!

The staff were exceptional. The room was decorated in local New Mexico motif. There was a large walk in shower with wonderful bath gel, shampoo and lotion. There was a continental breakfast each morning withe delicious croissants, pastries, oatmeal, fruit and hard boiled eggs. From 5-7 there was a happy hour with cheese, meat and cracker board. Coconut shrimp. Wine and beer selections. You could get sodas anytime as included in the cost. The meals were in the 6th floor with a lovely view of some local sights. There was a shuttle that took us to different parts of the plaza downtown. Part of the hotel was closed down due to a fire in the kitchen and ongoing renovation. There was a heated pool and hot tub that we just didn’t have time to try out. We were close to multiple eating venues, Walgreens and Whole Food’s. We highly recommend this hotel. .
