Little Marais Vacation Packages

Older hotel has character but needs some work. Clean sheets but old and very thin. Mattress had some lumps and bumps and should probably be replaced. Bathroom shower tiles are old, stained and cracked. Breakfast and lobby areas are very nice and unique, really fun to see. Room was just adequate. Lots of potential.

I love how this building was repurposed. We stayed in room #4. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very large. The room felt very spacious, however not the most functional. There aren't many places to set your things down or a desk of any sort. I loved the high ceilings. The location is pretty spectacular... however it seems to be the area where many questionable characters like to hang out. For this reason, I was nervous to use the Sauna. There are a few challenges with this specific room. It is the closet to the parking lot and roads. You MUST bring earplugs to be able to sleep here. It is so loud at night between road noise, bass blasting from cars in the parking lot, and some type of banging noise that happens multiple times per hour. We thought it was fireworks at first because we arrived at night and then realized it was not because it continued through the night. It seems like it may be the boilers ... if the building has them. The shower walls need a good scrub. There was definitely mold on the lower tiles. The blinds are also a bit sketchy. They feel like they would easily rip if you pulled them too hard.
