Cleaning service was excellent. Parking was also good, but it was off season so there weren’t too many guests. The ambience around the pool was stellar with comfortable canopies beds and places to enjoy the sun. Breakfast was provided by the neighboring restaurant, and the woman who made omelettes could not have been more un-friendly! In fact, “omelette lady” has now become code between my husband and me for a person who is not nice. Our bed was too bouncy, but the room was spacious. We had a flood from the shower into the bedroom, and the staff told us not to worry about it and that it was “normal.” That struck us as strange, but we figured it was an Italian thing.

The breakfast was excellent as well as the dinner

The staff there was amazing. Andraina was the front desk girl and she was super helpful. She told us what restaurants were good. She would have his cars booked when we needed them. The housekeeper was great. She gave us some Mass to take to us when we went on our cruise ship and I cannot forget about Jovanna. She was the one in the restaurant that would make us fresh squeezed orange juice every morning. She danced and dance to my husband for his birthday. Just a lovely lady. I highly recommend staying at this place. It's like a boutique hotel, four stars and it's right by all the shopping and by the marina for the cruises. So you're right by everything. You can literally walk everywhere. I give this a hotel a 12 out of 10. If you want to experience things there just talk to them. They will get you the right drivers and everything we went to a little place called Monreal. Our driver's name was Luigi and he was fantastic. If you can get him as a driver while you stay there definitely ask for him. Thank you for making our honeymoon, 5-year anniversary, and birthdays amazing!

We arrived to locked doors (for security) and when we were greeted she told us she wasn’t expecting anyone to check in. I showed our reservation and she apologized. We were given a different room than we booked, which had an upstairs, which is where the bathroom was, but not the bedroom. I specifically avoided booking this room type. I was then told our original room was not available and we would have to pay more to get another room type. Finally the settled and gave us the room on one floor. Our interactions with the staff were neither positive or negative, but neutral. It seemed we were a bother when we would engage. I didn’t like having to rattle the door every time we tried to come in. The location is good, not far from the market, and not far from the 4 corners. With the days being shorter in January, it was a bit uncomfortable waking some of the side streets in the dark. If I was to return to Palermo, I would consider staying here again, bit my preference would be to stay on one of the busy main streets, with the short dark days. Maybe longer sunny days would have felt different.

What a great experience! The staff, led by Fanny, is so professional and supportive. The attention to detail from the morning breakfast to the tasteful room decor impressed us. Great location as well.
