"I could write a book on how stellar our stay was at Eden East. We fell in love with our hosts, Heather and Robert, from the first moment. They were warm, generous and extremely accomodating of my dad's needs, as he is in a wheelchair. The common grounds pool area is filled with countless plants, colorful, imaginative art, and pool furniture. The whimsical bed perched on a deck, is the centerpiece of the pool area. There is a charming bridge connecting the entrance trail to the pool. Everywhere you look is a feast for the eyes with another happy plant or giant butterfly wall hanging. Our apartment was beautiful, colorful, art filled, immaculate and stocked with everything we could need from the kitchen to the bathroom. The handsoaps, shampoo, conditioner and body wash smelled divine. No detail was left unattended to. We enjoyed our own private, covered deck, with full privacy. As magnificent as Eden East is, its greatest asset is its hosts. They went above and beyond, in every way, to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We were blessed to be their guests for an entire month, and at the end of that month, we were sad to leave. Eden East and its hosts are one in a million. Come stay in one of their apartments or their charming yurt and prepare to be delighted."

"We originally booked a room on mission beach and the property had a plumbing issue. So the host contacted us and gave us several options for other homes to stay. None of them were on mission beach like we had hoped but the property we stayed was really nice. The house is set up very well and the location is nit too bad of a drive to the beaches. About 20-30 minutes depending on the traffic. I would definitely recommend this property and will probably stay again."

"The house has great features and bedrooms. The layout is quite convenient and is a great place to get away. Pros - outdoor space, lots of activities built within the house, clean and spacious. Kitchen area is especially nice with really good knives for cooking and higher end appliances, dishes, utensils. Nice towels, sheets etc Cons - having to be mindful of noise after 9pm, large barking dogs right next door, a few snafus with things broken or breaking (but mostly remedied during our stay), water taking quite some time to heat (inside and out), extra costs needed for heating pool and spa, higher end cost for what it actually is. However, all in all, if you are looking for a place to just get away and do things in the house, this place could be for you."

"We reserved this house for 3 nights as part of a high school friends reunion. On the day of check-in, I hadn't received any communication about checking in. I messaged the host, who responded by noon and gave instructions. With check-in time at 2pm, that's cutting it a little close, especially when some people were traveling from the east coast. When we arrived, the property was clean and exactly what we wanted: a large house with plenty of bedrooms and a big communal space. The location isn't great. It's right next to a freeway and "Ghetto-adjacent". It does have a Starbucks and Walmart right down the street which redeems it somewhat. Soon into our stay, we noticed a couple of major issues. The first that was the main bathroom's shower leaked from underneath out onto the rest of the bathroom floor. The second was that the front door electronic code lock was installed incorrectly. The code was needed to lock the door but simply pushing the top button, which illuminates the keypad, was enough to unlock it. We ended up barricading the door with the couches at night and took a chance when we left for the day. On the last day of our visit, the plumbing issue exploded. Both bathrooms flooded, both showers had several inches of standing water, and the toilets were all backed up and unusable. We had to drive to Starbucks to use their bathroom. We messaged the host about it and checked out a couple hours later. Would have been a 4 star review if not for the big issues."

"We loved this beautiful, spacious, spotless home. The bedrooms were comfortable and roomy. The amenities such as the kitchen with all the utensils and dishes you could need, poolside grill, and washer and dryer were great. The host even dropped off some delicious treats for us! The beautiful backyard not only has a sparkling pool, but a beautiful view of the mountain. It was so peaceful and relaxing!"
