I was appalled that I paid as much as I did to stay at an outdated, poorly unkept hotel. It took an hour to be checked in by the manager as she checked me in as the wrong person and then tried to blame me for the issue claiming that I booked my trip on Expedia, which I didn’t. It took the accounting person to be like “just check them in and then we’ll deal with this issue on the back end” which is what should have happened all along. While standing at the desk two other parties checked into multiple rooms and all of their rooms hadn’t been cleaned. Wet towels still on the floor and all.
When we finally made it to our room, it was outdated with cheap, well worn furniture. Nothing in the loft building was dusted or decorated. Just blank dusty shelves throughout the building. It was an absolute joke and I’ll be staying anywhere else next time I go to Columbus.
Ps they charge a destination fee that covers your wifi and amenities, and a $10 snack credit that’s virtually unredeemable.
