What a great location! Only issue was the language barrier, but comfortable, reasonably nice sized rooms. This is a great hotel to choose in Kyoto!

Excellent value and great location in the gion area. Basic traditional Japanese breakfast included. Property is dated; looks like the 1980's in there but everything was clean and servicible. Rooms were large and had a japanese style in room bathroom.

This place should be your choice. What a location, and a comfortable hotel. We had a tour, and as we walked by our guide mentioned the great location of the hotel. She was impressed it was ours. Top recommendation!

Location is ideal - right off train station, next to harbor (for those taking a cruise), near major attractions, restaurants, and shopping. It is also very safe and quiet, even at all hours of the day and night. We would definitely stay there again!!

Super convenient and walkable location! You’re so close to so many fun things, but far enough for it to be quiet. The location was super clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The traditional Japanese breakfast was a huge plus!

Hotel provided slippers and sleep wear, they all all the necessities at the lobby coffee and tea, personal stuff, very close walking distance to everything, refrigerator and kettle to boil water , enjoyed it here.

The location is very convenient to everywhere and it’s the reason I recommend this hotel. The space of room is pretty big with a bathtub and shower room. Breakfast is traditional Japaneses style. There is a coffee area serving hot and ice coffee after 3pm. I wish there is a work table and chair so I can work in my room.

The location was great in the middle of Gion district and I was able to walk to most of the places in the area, avoiding super crowded buses full of tourists. The rooms were pretty outdated but spacious, breakfast was simple but very nice.
