Close to train station and also castle.

Excellent location. Car parking available if needed. Check was easy and the lady at the reception was very helpful and we was lucky that are room was ready early. Rooms start on the 4th floor. There are lifts but the staircase is available via the spa. Rooms very spacious, great air conditioning and beds very comfortable. Tea & coffee facilities available. Didn't use any other facilities.

Breakfast was lovely.

Room was overpriced for a concert, £400 per night when £220 normally. I’d expect an uplift but not this much. Room was worn, fan and windows dusty and unclean. Other room had no hot water in shower so unable to use. Noisy and limited sleep although bed comfortable No bar as closed. WiFi non existent and no 5G signal so if you want a quiet night and no shower then ideal place. Breakfast mediocre

The hotel is in a great location for Cardiff Bay. Unfortunately, I stayed on the hottest days of the year. The room I was allocated on the ground floor did not have any windows that opened, and there seemed to be an aircon/heating unit that wasn’t working; fans were already in the room but didn’t help with the blistering heat and lack of ventilation. There was a portable heater in the room, so I assume there may be an opposite situation in the winter. The staff were really friendly and helpful, as much as they could considering the circumstances.
