"The villa it self was nice overall..the listing says 4 bedrooms but in all reality it was only two bedrooms and a loft with two beds upstairs in the loft.. The bedding was very damp almost like they were in a rush to put the bedding back on the beds after washing it... Wile sitting on the couch bedbugs bit my fiancée and you could see them crawling on the couch... The power went out and after calling the care taker and the property owner we were told we had to pay for our own electric. And then...

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the property. The property was as described and we loved the huge pool and it came with a cleaner, cook (we chose to cook ourselves) and 24 hr security. There are two other houses that share the complex but we always had the pool to ourselves. Lots of space. It is about a 5-10 min walk to the beach (down the Forty Thieves lane (now closed)) and is about a 5 min walk to Ali Barbour's. It is a short tuktuk to the Carrefour or can walk to the local grocery store....

"Located of the house is fantastic, on the beach next to a calm and warm sea perfect for toddlers! House was spacious and offred some nice rooms. The stairs were not convenient, very steep and high, not nice for a toddler or high heels. Chef cooks very well but you really have to double check what you agreed with her every day. "We have stayed several places on the east coast of Kenya. This was by far the best location in relation to the beach and restaurants. The pool was a highlight and the best we have ever had. Alfred was always on hand quickly when we had a need. The house was very spacious and for our family of five it was more than ample. However, the house is very old, or at least it appears that way. It is in serious need of some TLC and very run down. Window screening was mostly gone. Exterior doors could not...

"The location is pretty good, the way to the ocean is close, but pretty rough. A good store is not within walking distance, but a 3 minute tuk-tuk ride away. The apartment is ok, a bit outdated, but roomy. The pool is spacious, looks outdated but clean, the good part is that there are usually not many people there. The guards at the property are very friendly."
