Very nice hotel clean

Convenient for quick stay with long layover. Dated interior and strong smoke odor. Not many staff speak English, though all are friendly.

The surprise upgrade to my room when I checked it was nice. The room and staff were nice overall, and the food I ordered for room service was amazing. The view of the ocean/sea from my room was beautiful. I really enjoyed the selections available for breakfast; that’s the best breakfast buffet I have ever seen at a hotel in Izmir. The only issue I had was with the water color in the shower/tub. It was a bit yellowish until you let it run a little while.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Kordon Hotel Pasaport. From the moment I arrived, the service made me feel genuinely cared for. The manager is truly exceptional: she is kind, attentive, and effortlessly professional. Not the scripted kind of hospitality, but the real kind. The kind that makes you feel safe, welcomed, and seen, especially when you’re traveling and need that grounding energy. The location is absolutely perfect safe and beautiful. You can get anywhere in İzmir easily from here, and the view of the Agean Sea is simply unbeatable. Sitting by the water, watching the city breathe; it adds something special to the entire experience that you don’t forget once you leave. The buffet-style Turkish breakfast was also wonderful, fresh, generous, and thoughtfully prepared. A beautiful way to start the day, every day. I think I found the place every time we visit Izmir!
