The 2-car garage, gravel area left of the driveway, and gravel lot to the right of the white house next door are available for parking. The pool is open seasonally from about April 1 through about October 31 each year weather permitting. If your stay is around these time periods, contact us to see if the pool is open if you intend to use it. It is maintained at a default temperature of 75 degrees. Other general rules: 1\. Respect our neighbor’s property and do not trespass into their yards or driveways. 2\. Keep the noise outside to a reasonable level at all times. 3\. Quiet hours outside begin at 9:30 pm. 4\. No outside amplified music, bands, DJ\`s or anything similar is allowed. 5\. Cars must be parked in the 2-car garage, on the gravel to the left of the driveway or in the gravel lot to the right of the white house next door. A total of 6 cars are allowed with this reservation. Please DO NOT park on the concrete driveway since that makes it difficult for the neighbor to get their cars in their garage. 6\. Fireworks are prohibited on the property. 7\. Neighbors are aware that guests often stay at this home. Please treat them with respect and courtesy as you would the people in your neighborhood. 8\. Please lock all doors and windows 9\. We are not responsible or liable for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises. We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables during your stay. 10\. No off-road vehicles are allowed on the premises. 11\. Refund Policy: 100% refund up to 30 days before arrival, 50% refund up to 14 days before arrival. 12\. Please do not attach anything to the walls or ceilings with tape, tacks or anything else as this can cause damage which you will be charged for. 13\. Please do not flush wipes or feminine products. Doing so can cause serious plumbing issues and will result in a $2,000 fine. 14\. Please place any moved furniture back in its original position. A $100 fee will apply if all items are not properly reset before checkout. 15\. An additional fee of $200 will be charged for guests who arrive early (before the designated check in time) and also for those who check out late (after the designated check out time). 16\. Cancelled reservations will be charged 3% to cover credit card processing fees. 17\. You must be at least 25 years old to rent this home. 18\. You will be charged an additional $500 for neighbor complaints. 19\. You will be charged an additional $500 if security is dispatched to the property. 20\. You will be charged an additional $1,000 if the police is called to the property and you will likely have to vacate the property immediately without a refund. 21\. You will be charged a penalty of $500 plus $60/person for everyone on the property that was not included on your reservation count to be on the property. 22\. Guests are required to sign the rental agreement prior to check in. Check in instructions will not be sent if the rental agreement is not signed. 23\. Please clean up any floor spills with dry rags or paper towels and Bona Hard-surface floor cleaner. Do not use any other floor cleaner other than Bona hard-surface floor cleaner on the floors. Do not use water or vinegar on floor. The Bona hard-surface floor cleaner is located in the kitchen cabinet to the left of the pantry doors. 24\. Do not use garbage disposal for food. A garbage disposal that worked when I was there “broke” after we checked out and they charged for a repair. The original code provided to me didn’t work. There were pictures of an in home movie theater. When we got there it was just three holes in the dry wall. The couch in the picture wasn’t there either. That part of the basement was AI generated. The owners seem determined to find ways to nickel-and-dime guests and ensure you do not receive your full security deposit back. It feels less like hospitality and more like a trap to squeeze out every last dollar.From the very beginning, the experience was uncomfortable. We hadn’t even parked before we started receiving text messages telling us to move our cars. It was clear that the hosts were monitoring the property extremely closely—as if they were watching us in real time—which made the stay feel intrusive and unsettling. The cleanliness was another major issue. The towels provided were stained and looked far from fresh or sanitary. For the price being charged, I expected basic hospitality standards to be met, yet something as simple as a clean towel was not provided. I would strongly recommend bringing your own if you stay here.The listing itself is misleading. While the house looks nice in pictures, the reality is far less appealing in person. The owners charge an already steep daily rate and then tack on additional fees for just about everything, far beyond what the property is actually worth. The constant extra charges and unfair practices left me with the impression that their priority is not creating a welcoming experience for guests, but rather maximizing profit at the guest’s expense.Overall, the stay was disappointing, uncomfortable, and felt exploitative.
