Beautiful lake, the cottage is wonderful, so We had a great time. Enjoyed being on the lake, watching the turtles. Early morning paddle boat rides were beautiful. We saw a bald eagle, a doe and her fawn, geese, and ducks. The lake house is cozy. We slept great. Such an enjoyable time. ##### Gail S. We just spent our 4th new year retreat at Skinner Lake cottage. It is so peaceful, comfortably furnished, close to great places to eat and shop. We bring all our books, make a meal or tea, and relax. The cabin is well appointed and supplied, and clearly well cared for. The back deck would be very nice for the summertime (not so much for us in winter). I took one star off for location because the front of the cabin is right on the highway (set back a bit), with neighbors all around. However, sitting in the back you may not notice. ##### Jerry C. The place was lovely and peaceful - just what we wanted. Beautiful lake view from the deck. Loved the fact that bottles of cold water were in the refrigerator for us when we arrived - much needed and so thoughtful.
