"The pool was lovely, we enjoyed the ice machine, beach chairs and umbrellas were awesome. Our room was pretty small and we never received a top sheet when we went to sleep. It was nice to roll out of bed and have breakfast each morning. The coffee needs an upgrade! Overall, fantastic stay and beautiful hotel. The food from the hotel was excellent."
Fairmont El San Juan Hotel

"Overall, we loved the Fairmont. It's a beautiful hotel that's starting to show its age here and there. It's nothing that would keep us from returning but I hope managment is able to keep up with this gem. Our room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. In fact ,for the most part, it was very clean inside. The pool deck, unfortunately, was always a bit dirty, but it could be due to the drought and lack of water to thoroughly clean. The grounds and landscaping were beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We went at the beginning of slow season so there were always lounge chairs. Enjoyable stay."

"I really wanted to fall in love with La Concha like the way we did in 2015. I wanted to get away from the fast paced city life. Instead, I couldn't decompress. So much has changed. We had an ocean view room and were put in a room above the construction site. They would start working at 6:30 am. Instead of relaxing, I was stressed out with anxiety reminding me of what I have to return to in NYC. The only time I was able to relax a little was at the infinity pool facing the beach."
