I like this property. I had a problem with the lady renting me the apartment. It was a big property and I tried to get clarification but she was very un accommodating and rude. On day of check out I tried to ask why I was moved last minute as soon as I arrived to the country they changed my reservation and only told me once I arrived to property. The place was very beautiful but I was disappointed with the lady I communicated with. She was unprofessional and did not want to help at all

Mi experiencia en Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana fue profundamente decepcionante. Viajamos mi esposa, nuestros cuatro hijos y yo. Nuestros hijos tienen 2, 6, 8 y 12 años. Uno de ellos celebró su cumpleaños durante este viaje, y esa fue una de las principales razones por las que escogimos este hotel. Queríamos regalarle una experiencia especial, alegre e inolvidable junto a toda la familia. Además, dos de nuestros niños tienen necesidades especiales y son muy particulares con la leche que consumen. Por esa razón, nosotros mismos viajamos con su leche líquida ya preparada. No le estábamos pidiendo al hotel que nos proporcionara leche ni ningún producto especial. Lo único que necesitábamos era una manera sencilla y segura de calentarla. A pesar de tratarse de una necesidad muy básica, durante aproximadamente dos días y medio tuvimos que insistir, presentar quejas y discutir repetidamente para conseguir una solución. Dependíamos del personal para que nos llevaran agua caliente a la habitación, muchas veces con demoras considerables y a horas que interrumpían nuestro descanso. En ocasiones pedíamos el agua alrededor de las 10:00 u 11:00 de la noche y llegaba mucho más tarde. Otras veces debíamos volver a solicitarla de madrugada para poder atender a los niños. La situación llegó a ser tan frustrante que incluso propuse comprar yo mismo una jarra eléctrica y donarla al hotel, con tal de resolver el problema y no continuar molestando al personal. This was our second time visiting the resort with children. We came to celebrate our two year-old‘s birthday. We had a finest club pool, family suite. The first room we got was at an intersection of the hallway and by elevators, thus was extremely loud. They did accompany us and move us to a room further back on the property, but that turned into a issue as it took about two hours to complete the move. So that was time that wasn’t able to be gotten back. Additionally, when we did the room change, we weren’t given the finest club upgrades. It may seem small, but we paid for it and never received any of the nicer finishes in the room. It also took two days for the mini bar to get restocked after two calls to the front desk. Also, even though we are celebrating our two-year-old‘s birthday the resort seemed to have forgotten to do anything special for the occasion. Overall, it seems like little things easily slipped through the cracks. And we didn’t wanna have to sit on the phone constantly with management to get those things resolved. On a positive note the food seemed to be a better quality and taste. Additionally management provided us with a voucher to receive finest club upgrade on our next day. That voucher expires in one year. Unknown if will return again. We may try somewhere else as there’s plenty of options in the area.
