Everything was clean, and the property was literally a two minute walk to the beach. The price was very reasonable and if the opportunity arises, we will stay here again. Quiet compared to other apartments in the area because the Windows are toward the back and not the Kapahulu Avenue. Perfect to Park the Rental car on Monsarrat Avenue (Probably one of the only free parking in Waikiki). Employee at the entrance were very nice and useful. Nice to have a restaurant on the GroundFloor and à restaurant/bar on the 2nd Floor. Very clean, the bed is huge and the 10th floor Lanai is just amazing For the view. ##### Jérémie D. Good view, close to a lot of store and food, quiet neighbors, very close to the beach. There is a sun deck on top of the building which had s great view of diamond head. Reason it’s not 5 stars is that the wifi or cable did not work while I was there. The person that came to “fix it” basically only tried unplugging it and plugging it back in. Owner did provide log in to another wifi network, but my devices could not see the network, and after letting the owner know this, I didn't hear anything back. ##### Nicholas H. Sep 20, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### aging hotel location is great. the tenth floor deck is nice, front desk was polite and helpful. not 100% sure what the deal is with the waikiki grand, but it was built in 1963 and its age shows. in this unit there is a single wall unit ac that struggles to keep up with the space in hot weather. its a corner unit on the ninth of ten floors, next to a trash chute. we didn’t hear things from the adjacent units but general outside noise like trash trucks woke us around 4 one morning. the shower had less pressure and heat than we like, and half or more of the individual holes in the heads were blocked. pool is not impressive, but no one seems to use it: the beach is a block away. ##### Paul G.
