Sitting on acres of land above a canyon and river, this idyllic, rural retreat is perfect for several families or a group of friends traveling together. Consisting of a main house and converted barn, you'll have access to two separate living spaces, and the run of a gorgeous property, surrounded by trees. With sweeping mountain views, an in-ground pool, several covered decks, and a shady, gazebo-covered patio by the pool, it’s easy to enjoy your natural surroundings right from home.

If you want to explore, Hesperus Ski Area is around 19 miles away, and all the shops, restaurants, and amenities in either Durango or Farmington are around 25 miles away. If you're here to fish, you'll love the private river access behind the main house and private pond north of the barn. Lake Nighthorse is 23 miles away.

In the main house, you'll find two levels of space to spread out, traditional, homey decor, and cozy hardwood floors on the main level. A full kitchen makes it easy to feed the crew, and there's room for everyone between the dining room table, breakfast bar, and patio table outside. At the barn, you'll find abundant natural light and mountain views from nearly every window. Another full kitchen (no dishwasher) makes meal prep a breeze. Both homes feature wood-burning fireplaces, ideal for cozy nights at home, and free WiFi if you must stay connected. At bedtime, choose from two bedrooms in the barn and four in the main house, but don't call it a night without one more toast on the patio to booking such a lovely mountain retreat.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
