Guys Weekend

"This place was perfect for our Guys Weekend; a getaway for 5 dads in their 40s. And we were very satisfied with all the room to move around and what this house had to offer. It was clean, plenty of seating, a big dining room table, 3 bathrooms, bbq grill, wifi, TV for our weekend sports, and firepit by the lake with great views. Only negatives were that the outside wrap around porch could have used a cleaning, the deck by the lake could use an overhaul, and same with the outdoor furniture. Bring your own outdoor chairs, and forks for eating (kitchen only had 4 forks supplied). Other than that, we enjoyed it and would go back. And FYI, site wasn't clear on sleeping arrangements, there are 2 queen beds in the loft, and 2 bedrooms w/queen beds in the basement. One of our guys slept on an air mattress by choice, instead of a couch, which we had planned before staying."

Relaxing 3 bedroom cottage right off Lake Carlyle

Clean and convenient for lake access

"If you are looking for basic accommodations with easy access to the boat ramp and beach on Carlyle Lake, this rental meets the need. Pros: Very clean, easy keypad access, just a few minutes to walk to the beach, solid assortment of kitchen supplies, plenty of extra blankets. Cons: Keyesport is a very rural community that is sadly run down in some areas. The street where this rental is located has a mix of nice homes and abandoned buildings. While the decor in this rental is outdated, it is well kept to support basic needs. We have three teenage girls, so having only one mirror in the whole place made it a bit challenging for us. An end table for the lamp and coffee table in the living room would make a world of difference for creature comforts. All in all, it’s a convenient and clean place to hang your hat if you are wanting to spend time at the lake."
